Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2007

May 18, 2007, PICKERINGTON, OHIO - Twelve new members have been selected for induction into The Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Each new inductee has furthered American motorcycling through a lifetime of achievement. Induction ceremonies for the Class of 2007 are scheduled for the evening of Saturday, October 6, 2007, in Columbus Ohio.

A truck driver was eating breakfast at a lunch counter, when a gang of motorcycle tough-guys walked in. One of the bikers put his finger in the truck driver's coffee and said, "Not very hot, is it?" Then another biker put his finger in the scrambled eggs and said, "Not very fluffy, are they?" Finally, without saying a word, the trucker paid for his meal and left. "Wasn't much of a man, was he?", the gang leader asked the waitress. "He's no great driver either", replied the waitress. "He just ran over a bunch of motorcycles."

The Night Came Calling

The feeling of freedom was exhilarating while I felt the wind blow through my hair. Even though I was only the passenger, I could not help but fuse with the driver and his machine. It was like the three of us became one, leaning in the direction of any curve in the road.

This ride on his Honda motorcycle was the last one I took with my friend, Mike, before the fateful day which changed life as he knew it forever.
